There are lots of tire shine products available on the market. Does Cover All Tire Shine work well to achieve a good tire shine?

Yes! I was impressed with how easy it was to apply and how quickly it dried for a tire shine. The shine it left on my tires was long-lasting and made my car look like new. However, I did notice that it can be a bit messy if you're not careful. Be sure to spray carefully to not waste tire shine.

Customer Reviews for Tire Shine

Positive Feedback

Here is the good part: Cover All Tire Shine certainly made my tires look a lot better than before. The tire shine spray left no residue while also maintaining a high gloss tire dressing finish which looked nice. I drove around for a couple of weeks and noticed that the tire gel didn’t start to attract too much unwanted dust or debris right away - or at least not more than regular unshined tires.

I’ll also say that the product was easy to apply - and I’ve done a few tire shines in my life of owning cars. With that said, there are a few negatives to share about this tire shine product.

Negative Feedback for Tire Shine

I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting, but I feel like Cover All Tire shine isn’t quite the best tire shine out there because it doesn’t make tires all that glossy. I like glossy tires because they tell me the tire is clean and overall the shiny makes my tires look good. I feel like this isn’t the best tire shine available from my own driveway. It does come close though. I might be expecting a bit too much so can excuse tire shine for potentially providing exactly what it does - the best tire shine - and me expecting more than that.

We will say that nearly all tire dressing and tire shine products have some flaws and will cover more of the best tire shine products later.

Cover All Tire Shine vs. Competitive Tire Shine Products

Comparison with Other Tire Shine Products

I’ve tried a few tire shine products in my time to get the best tire shine. I’ve found that products like Meguiar’s Ultimate Insane Shine Tire Coating looks nice at first but doesn’t last as long. It also costs more than Cover All for a comparable amount of tire shine.

You could also try out Griots. I find it more difficult to apply than a spray which ultimately makes it look patchy. Car Guy’s Tire Shine Spray is also well known but doesn’t last more than a couple of weeks in my experience. Overall, Cover All does provide a nice balance of long term shine and ease of use.

How to Use Cover All Tire Shine to get the best tire shine

Step-by-step instructions

Using Cover All Tire Shine is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps. Here's how:

The first thing you’ll want to do is clean your tires. Hose them off and get rid of debris that might keep tire dressing from staying on. You’ll then want to shake the can well per it’s instructions which will distribute the liquid correctly.

Then hold the can a few inches from the tire and slowly spray a coat of the shine onto the tire. Spray so that you cover visible portions of the tire completely. Don’t overspray and be sure to stop if it starts to run off the tire. You’ll then want to let the tire dry completely, which will be over within 15 minutes.

You can repeat the process for all your tire shines until you think it looks good. Hopefully after the first try.

Tips and tricks for getting the best tire shine

Here are a few tips and tricks that can help you get the best results. Here are some things to keep in mind you should use any tire shine product in a well ventilated area or use a breathing mask. You’ll also want to be sure to not overspray the tire spray because it is wasteful and will make the high gloss spray run off the tire. Finally, you might need to repeat coats but that is possibly preventable if you clean it well first.

You can achieve a long-lasting shine on your tires with Cover All Tire Shine by following these simple steps and tips, y

What is a tire shine gel vs a tire shine spray?

This is more about the substance used. A tire shine spray like Cover All sprays directly onto the fire like a mist. A tire shine gel is thicker and spreads across the tire surface. A tire shine gel might be a little more work to put on, and it is stickier, but it also tends to last longer. Cover all high gloss is considered a tire spray.

As far as tire dressing and the best tire shine products go, we would suggest you use the product that you can apply most easily. Generally, they are pretty simple but make sure they work for your climate and the tools and abilities you have.
